Topic: Building and Run
There are lot of things going on at the Foundation. We are completely remodeling the building so we need anyone who would like to help with that moving around. We have been taking cancer patients to treatment, which has been one of the most moving experiences that I have had. We are always in need of drivers so if you would like to volunteer please call me. We take referrals from multi county cancer support network, which are in desperate need of drivers.
we also need to remember that the Multi County Cancer Support Network's walk a thon will be coming up soon. Be sure to sign up on a team or get a team together. You can also purchase a candle in honor or in memory of someone. All the money this group recieves goes directly to cancer patients in our county plus the six surrounding counties. Please support them.
We have many other projects going on at the building, you need to come by and see what is going on. We are getting ready to erect a concrete beer bottle wall so we need all the beer bottles we can get. That is just one of the projects. We are in need of an electrician to help move our power so that we can get a seperate power line so we can put in our heat and air unit. We need plumber so that we can have some water and a bathroom. This year all money made at the Craig Run will be used to make the building a comfortable welcoming place for cancer patients to come, work on projects, find information. In case you did not know we have purchased a recreational vehicle to help in transporting patients. We used every bit of the money we made off the Craig Run last year, plus off the jeep raffle. The RV needs some work so if anyone knows anything about RV's let us know because we need some help.
I would like to thank all the many volunteers, the many public service workers ,my family and many friends for all the help. We are making a difference in people's lives, not just in the lives of cancer patients but of the people who come down to the building and put their sweat and money into it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you for remembering my son.

Monica will come by and see you. There are many plans that have been left up in the air simply because we never know what is going to happen to prevent us from doing anything. If you have any ideas please let us know. The Foundation building will be opened every day from 10 until 4 unless we have a late night work session.
